On Site Professional Quotation

No strings attached free same or next day on site consultation and quotation.  Consultation and system design is performed by a Security Technician not a sales person.  Our technicians do not receive commissions.  We do not try to sell you extra equipment you do not need.

Must sign-up for service with credit check being performed first.  Verbal quote given by sales person without seeing the property to be protected.  Technicians show up later with contract in hand – you are now under pressure to do the job.  Technicians attempt to sell additional equipment for a commission.

  • $24.00 - $39.95 per Month.
  • Must Pay for 36 Months.
  • After 36 Months you only pay for the cost of Monitoring which is much less expensive.

  • Must Pay for 36 Months.
  • After 36 Months continue to pay the same amount for as long as you want keep the system.

Base System Includes

  • Uses existing telephone line.
  • Wireless system.
  • 1 Keypad.
  • 1 Wireless key fob.
  • 4 Wireless protection devices of the customer’s choice that best protects the customer’s property. 
  • One of the above protection devices can be a Smoke Detector without any additional charge.
  • Uses existing telephone line.

  • 1 Wireless key fob.
  • 3 Doors protected for opening (not breakage).
  • 1 Motion detector.
  • Smoke detectors can be added to the above system for approximately $198.00 each.

Purchase Options

We allow our customer to decide if they want to purchase a term contract or purchase the system outright and only pay for the services the customer requires.  Purchasing the system outright saves the customer over $1000.00 in the first 5 years. Compare and Save.

All options include stiff monthly charges that exceed far beyond the cost of monitoring services.

Contracts

  • We use industry standard Security System contracts that are easy to understand. They have large fonts so you can really read them. (These Contracts are required by the State of California).
  • You receive our contracts for review and execution before you are locked in with credit checks and down payments.
  • Contracts with very small font sizes are on the back of sign-up forms that are provided and required back before service is activated. 
  • You must setup an account and make the prescribed down payments and installation commitments before you will see these contracts.

Contract Terms – Pay Off

The balance of the contract must be paid, but only if the new owner decides not to activate the system in their name for the balance of the term remaining on your contract.  New owner must sign new contracts for the remaining term.  Another option is to have us activate a new system at your new residence, in this case you can continue receiving service under your existing contracts term.  Re-Installation charges will apply.

The balance or 70% of the remaining contract balance whichever is less must be paid to remove debt from personal credit reports.

Discounts may apply if you have the system activated at your new residence. Re-Installation charges typically apply.

Warranty

1 Year Parts and Labor, no Labor, Material, or Trip Charges are billed during the warranty period.

Materials Only, you pay for repair labor during the Warranty.  (See  Contract)

Repairs and Service (after the Warranty)

Customer is charged for time and materials at fair rates and only if service is required.  There are no additional Truck/Trip charges.  We charge portal to portal, and since we are local and always in the area we never have to charge you for unnecessary travel costs.

Materials have life-time Warranty.  Material warranty is only valid as long as you pay the monthly contract price.

Battery replacement and device testing are charged at standard time and material rates.

Maintenance Contracts

Sierra Security Systems installs systems that typically do not require much maintenance.  We feel Maintenance Contracts create an unnecessary recurring expense for the customer that is rarely in need of service.

Residential Maintenance contracts are sometimes available at stiff additional costs.  See web sites.  Consider why you would purchase a maintenance contract while you should be under warranty.

California Licensed Technicians

For your protection alarm company technicians performing work in the State of California are required to hold a valid and current “Alarm Agent License” each individual must have their own personal license.  All our technicians are licensed as required by state law.  Check an Individuals license

Nation-wide companies that perform work in the Eastern Sierra that travel from out of state must also carry their State of California Alarm Agent License – the company having a California license is not enough, individual technicians must also carry their personal California license. Check an Individuals license
